allthethings.gay is for everyone in our community, including disabled people. Embarc Creative Co. LLC, doing business as allthethings.gay, is committed to making our website, newsletter, apps, and marketplace usable by as many people as possible.

Our Goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Today, we believe the site partially conforms to that standard, meaning some parts don't fully meet it yet. We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), browser zoom up to 200%, and automated tools.

What We Do

  • Write in plain language with clear headings.
  • Provide text alternatives for images and captions for videos we publish, including on social media.
  • Support keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Use color contrast that meets WCAG AA and never rely on color alone (for example, our category colors always come with a name and an icon).
  • Respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Offer a list view of every map, so you can find places without using the map.
  • Label form fields and explain errors in text.
  • Ask advertisers and sellers to follow accessibility standards in their content (see our Ad Content Policy).

Accessibility Information in Listings

Businesses can add accessibility details to their listings, such as step-free entrances, accessible restrooms, ASL-fluent staff, sensory-friendly hours, and telehealth options. This information comes from businesses and the community; please confirm with the business if it matters for your visit.

Known Issues

Third-Party Content

Some content comes from businesses, advertisers, sellers, and services we use, such as Stripe checkout and embedded social posts. We ask them to meet accessibility standards but can't fully control their content.
